Hassle Free Return Policy

At Boat Cover Shop, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely happy, please review our return policy below for information on how to exchange or return merchandise purchased through our website. Our customer service team is ready to help if you have any questions or need assistance with returns—we aim to make the process smooth and hassle free. With over a decade and a half of cover expertise, we stand behind the quality of our products and will work with you to provide customer satisfaction.

How to Request a Return:

To initiate a return request, contact us at 1-800-930-2176 or [email protected]. Please include as much information as possible about your return including: Your order number, reason for the return, whether the package has or has not been opened, and whether you are looking for a replacement or a refund.

We accept return and exchange requests made within 30 days of the date you receive your original purchase. Returns initiated 30 days after the date of receipt will be denied.

Our returns department will review your RMA request and notify you whether or not your request has been approved or denied. If approved, you will be provided with detailed instructions for returning or exchanging your purchase.

  • We will issue a refund when we have received confirmation from our warehouse that your original purchase has been received. Your refund will be issued to the credit card or PayPal account you used to make the purchase.
  • Refused or undeliverable packages sent to the 48 contiguous states will be subject to a $19.12 Return to Sender fee as well as original shipping costs.
  • Refused or undeliverable packages sent to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico will have the shipping charge deducted from the refund. Canadian UPS fees (customs fees, duties, and brokerage fees) are NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Items must be shipped back within 10 days of receiving the RMA approval. Items sent after 10 days will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Items sent back without an RMA# on the label will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Items that do not qualify for our No-Hassle Sizing Guarantee are subject to a 20% restocking fee (depending on if the cover is dirty or not) and return shipping costs.
  • Items must be in new, unused, resellable conditions or will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • All free bonus items shipped with an order must be returned with the cover. Failure to return these items and all items included within your refund agreement will result in the items being deducted from the total refund amount.

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as the return has been processed and you have been refunded.

Refunds may have original shipping costs deducted in some instances.

Please note that it may take up to 14 business days to process your return and receive a refund.

If you are exchanging or replacing a purchase, your new purchase(s) will be shipped when we have received confirmation from the carrier that the returned purchase(s) has been received. When we ship your new purchase(s), you will be sent a notification via email. This email will also contain a new tracking number.

Free Return Shipping:

Free return shipping applies to incorrect covers received as part of our No-Hassle Sizing Guarantee. We will cover the return or exchange shipping cost if the cover you receive is an incorrect size for your watercraft. To help us determine if your return qualifies for free return shipping and meets our No-Hassle Sizing Guarantee guidelines, we may require photographs. We will not offer free return shipping for a cover with sizing issues without a photo of the cover on the watercraft.

Free return shipping does not apply to new and unopened items.

Free return shipping and exchange does not apply to orders from Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico or any order outside the 48 states.

Holiday Return Policy:

Our standard return policy is extended for orders placed between Black Friday and December 25th. Any orders placed between those dates will be able to return the order for a refund until the second Friday of January. There are no other exceptions to our return policy for orders placed outside those dates.
